I can’t stop smiling! 🎨��❤️🥹

The wind tried to blow our art show away but we improvised, scrapped the tents and the extra tables and tablecloths and returned to the store multiple times for MORE CLIPS and clothespins😅!! The art on the tables and easels just couldn’t take the wind and I chased art and tablecloths around all morning and afternoon trying my best to set it all up. 😂 But WE DID IT despite the wind and it was WONDERFUL! I’m so proud of all of my students! What matters most is that they were celebrated and congratulated for all of their creativity and work! They are AMAZING! #ilovemyjob #childrensart #kidart

Spring Bouquets!

Supplies Needed:

-Watercolor Paper
-Watercolor Paints
-Brushes
-Oil Pastels
-Scissors
-Skewers
-Hot Glue
-Vases(these darling rainbow vases are my favorite!!)

First, I gave students the watercolor paper with a light pencil sketch of flowers on them. I gave them creative freedom to make their flowers any way they wanted! Once dry, they added oil pastels. I encouraged them to outline and blend and really make their flowers POP! Last, cut them out and hot glue to skewers. I did this step but older students could have done it themselves.
I love that they could be added to a potted plant or garden, just stake them in. 💐🌷🌻🌼🌸🪻#artclass #childrensart
